The Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs (the “Committee”) announced today that it will be holding public hearings on Bill 148, the Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, 2017, in Toronto on Monday, October 30, 2017; Tuesday, October 31, 2017; and Thursday, November 2, 2017.
Those interested in making oral presentations to the Committee during the public hearings on Monday, October 30, 2017 or Tuesday, October 31, 2017 should provide their contact name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to the Clerk of the Committee, Eric Rennie, by 5:00pm today, October 26, 2017 at comm-financeaffairs@ola.org.
Those who wish to make an oral presentation on Thursday, November 2, 2017 should provide the same information to the Clerk of the Committee by 5:00pm on Monday, October 30, 2017.
Those who wish to comment on Bill 148 but do not wish to present may provide written submissions to the Clerk of the Committee by 5:00pm on Friday, November 3, 2017.
