Ramona is a lawyer at Williams HR Law, where she practices in all areas of management-side labour, employment, and human rights law.
In her practice, Ramona assists unionized and non-unionized employers with a broad range of matters relating to employment agreements, employment standards, wrongful dismissal litigation, discipline and termination, occupational health and safety, grievance arbitration, labour board proceedings, human rights and accommodation, and workplace investigations.
Prior to joining the Williams HR Law team, Ramona practiced at a labour and employment boutique law firm in North York where she gained extensive experience in employment litigation.
Ramona is a graduate of the University of Ottawa’s English Common Law Program. While at law school, Ramona served as President of the South Asian Law Students’ Association for two consecutive years. In addition, she served as Communications Team Lead for Law Needs Feminism Because and volunteered with a community drop-in legal clinic aimed at providing access to justice, where she assisted clients with their family and criminal law matters.
Before her legal studies, Ramona obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph.
In her spare time, Ramona enjoys swimming, dancing, trying out new instant pot recipes, and spending time with her goldendoodle, Lola.
